Transfer Pumps for Filling Operations
CAPS Fire Inc. offers pumps for transferring Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid from shipping containers to bottles or between on-site bulk storage tanks. We offer pumps with a variety of power options, materials of construction and flow rates that can operate with a flooded suction or even a limited dry suction lift. These pumps are available with electric motor drives or can be operated from bottled compressed gas cylinders (air or nitrogen) for recharging systems in the field.

Pre-Engineered Pump Delivery Systems
Our pre-engineered delivery systems are assembled at our Washington manufacturing site and shipped to the system installer for component integration/installation anywhere on the globe. Simply connect the pumping unit outlet to the discharge piping network, connect the pump control panel to a power source and the fire alarm system, fill with extinguishing agent and arm. It's that simple.

These clean agent pumping systems are capable of replacing contemporary bottled systems but provide twice the effectiveness. Each system is designed to equal two distinct bottled systems; providing equivalent capacity for two entirely separate discharges and saving precious storage space that would be taken up by redundant cylinders. This allows for the system to be brought online immediately after the first discharge or can be configured to provide a second discharge in the event of re-ignition or drop in agent concentration when using the appropriate monitors or sensors.

A Few of Our Common Available Sizes
  • 13 lb. Capacity of 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid
  • 200 lb. Capacity of 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid
  • 1200 lb. Capacity of 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid

    Engineered Pump Delivery Systems
When "standard" just doesn't fit, let us help you design a custom delivery system. We can size a pump or delivery system to meet your specific requirements by matching design nozzle pressures, flow rates, or even for OEM integration into existing equipment. We specialize in small (2-3 lb/minute) local applications but can easily provide a solution for that larger application when a long continuous, inerting or cycled discharge is needed.

Let our experienced staff help guide you through the selection process so that you obtain the right pump. We can even work within your design constraints to develop an appropriate storage container for those unique systems with limited storage dimensions. The following pictures are just one example highlighting the benefit to custom molding a storage container. This design provides enough capacity for two independent systems while stacking the storage resovoir above the pumps. This system can also be configured to work as a single delivery system while providine ample space for a second, redundant backup pump. The possibilities for storage containers and Novec™ 1230 fluid pumping systems are endless!!
